Working Principle
The detector utilizes ion mobility spectrometry technology. Sample molecules are thermally desorbed, ionized by a non-radioactive source, and transformed into charged ions. These ions migrate through an electric field at different rates based on their mass-to-charge ratio, creating distinct detection spectra for identification.
